He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Sylvester Waitman and Helen Amanda Golightly Waitman; his daughter Robin Renee Waitman Fulp; and his sister Nancy Lou Waitman. He is survived by: his wife Dora Maxine Leonard Waitman; his son Craig Alan Waitman (Teresa) of Lexington; his brother Steve Waitman (Cathy) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Wesley Waitman (Jordan), Julie Casey (Pat) and Andy Fulp (Samantha); his great grandchildren, Abigail Casey, Caroline Casey, Payton Fulp, Elliot Fulp and Liam Fulp; and his son-in-law Sam Fulp (Nancy).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Becks Reformed Church or to Hospice of Davidson County 200 Hospice Way Lexington, NC 27292.
