It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann Swinson of Lexington, North Carolina, who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joann Swinson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Rodwell Foster and Nona Mae Lanning Foster. She is survived by: her daughters, Sherri Moree and Tina Leonard; her grandchildren, Madison Dabney (Sterling), Isaiah Moree (Alana), Ethan Moree (Brianna) and Connor Leonard; her great grandchildren, Charlie Dabney, Tenley Moree, Cohen Moree and Joanna Moree; and her friend Tonie Sink.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel (301 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
