She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Perry Thomas and Eva Elizabeth Thomas; her husband Vaughn Everett Gibby; her son Bobby Gibby; and her siblings, Wayne, David, Ted Thomas, Carlena Millagan, June Lindsay and Julia Cromer.
She is survived by: her sons, Don Gibby (Tammy) and Gary Gibby; her siblings-in-law, Barbara Thomas and Harold Lindsay; her grandchildren, Bradley, Mathew, Jason (Tamara), Chris Gibby and Meredith Dixon (Logan); and her great grandchildren, Nicole (Jacob), Abby and Mallory.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a charity of your choice in Joanna's name, continuing her legacy of helping others.
