He was predeceased by: his father Curtis Edward Elkins; his brother Terry Elkins; and his wife Constance "Connie" Varner Elkins. He is survived by: his daughters, Erica McDowell (Davin) of Lexington and Jamie Cook (Adam) of Lexington; his mother Dorothy "Dot" Franklin Elkins; his sister Leigh Ann Davidson (Steve) of Randleman; his granddaughters, Lilly York of Lexington, Bella Cook of Lexington and Skylar Cook of Lexington; and his sister-in-law Stephanie Elkins of Hinton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
