He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Frank Cole and Nellie H. Cole; and his sisters, Lorine Johnston, Mary Thompson, Kate Smith and Bettie Jean Slemp.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Cole; his children, Angela Cole, Camille Phillips (Kelly), Slade Cole (Joanna), Ana Steadman (Jonathan), Whitney Tucker (Barry) and Erin Queen (Johnathan); and his sister Virginia Leonard (Ed). He is also survived by grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Becks Reformed Church (2845 Becks Church Rd, Lexington, NC 27292). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Beck's Reformed Church.
