He was predeceased by: his parents, John Freeman and Mary Edith Hancock Freeman; and his siblings, Larry Freeman, Irene "Peggy" Queen, Frankie Ernest and Ethel Hancock.
He is survived by: his children, Tiffany Alexander (Wesley) of Lexington and John Freeman of Lexington; his grandchildren, Tyler McKown and Kayla Everhart; his niece Shelia Elbertson of Kentucky; and his pet Mekenzie.
