It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Willis of Lexington, North Carolina, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carlton Willis and Mary McLarty Willis; and his wife Phyllis Penninger Willis. He is survived by: his children, Charlie Willis (Lori) of Lexington, Carl Willis (Melissa) of Martinez and Amy McLamb (Dan) of Efland, NC; and his grandchildren, Mattie Paige Willis, Juliana Willis, Luke Willis, Kate Willis, Ella Willis, Tess McLamb and Phillip McLamb.
