With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnny Eugene Helms of Lexington, North Carolina, who passed away on March 4, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Rita James Helms; his daughters, Amanda Hedrick (Derek) and Summer Garrison (Dustin); his siblings, Larry Chrzanowski (Micki), Jimmy Vanhoy (Phyllis), Carolyn Livengood (Benny) and Colleen Boysworth; and his grandchildren, Willow, Lilly, Raelynn and Waverly.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Johnny's honor to East End Baptist Church mortgage reduction.
