He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Albert Thompson and Sarah Ellen Stafford Thompson; his daughter Suzie Thompson; his grandson Michael Moser; his great grandchild Adam Jeffcoat; and his siblings, Rachel Braxton, Dorothy Bunn, Mary Norwood, Albert Thompson, Sabert Thompson and Elmer Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Thompson; his children, Nell Phillips, Anita Crawford (Ted), Juliann Stutts, Leslie Roberts (Jeff), Sammy Thompson (Norma), Jerry Isley (Benay), Joe Thompson (Sonja), Ricky Isley, Floyd Isley (Dean) and Lonnie Thompson; and his siblings, Alice Hadley and Henry Thompson (Marizelle). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
