She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernestine Young and William Carter; and her stepsister Tammy Bullock. She is survived by: her son Malcom Bishop; her brother Stacey Young (Sandra); and her godmother Mary Lou Harris. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Service (701 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Files Chapel Baptist Church (900 Dixie St, Lexington, NC 27292). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at the Righteous Church of God (162 Thomas Mock Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27107).
