He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinard Roosevelt Hicks and Bulah Blanch Presnell Hicks; his daughter Lisa Miller; and his siblings, Rev. Don Hicks, Victor Hicks, Jean Hunt, Faye Clark, Dolly Ward, Louanna Presnell, Artha Hicks and Mamie Shrewsberry.
He is survived by: his wife Gracie Queen Hicks; his children, Tony Hicks (Kimberli) of Florida, Michael Hicks (Susanna) of Lexington, Jon Hicks (Theresa) of Denton and Jennifer Penninger (David) of Lexington; and his son-in-law Mike Miller of Tyro.
