With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Wiggins Jones of Lexington, North Carolina, who passed away on March 29, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Luther Wiggins; her grandmother Barker; her husband Samuel Harold Jones; her son Cliford Jones; and her brother Bill Ledford.
She is survived by: her children, Clayton Jones (Ethel), Dexter Jones (Yvonne) and Elaine Moody (Harold); her sister Edna Russ; her grandchildren, Valerie Mangum (Rob), Daniel Jones, Kelly Crim (Jake), Sheldon Jones, Cindy Byrd (Brian), Jessica Queen (Shandal), Katie Ratliff (David) and Jon Moody; and her caregivers, Ty Robinson, Gilda Spiegel and Rosemary Blevins. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Madison Heights Free Will Baptist Church or Hospice of Davidson County.
