With solemn reverence, we commemorate Kathy Joyner Shoaf of Lexington, North Carolina, whose life came to an end on September 22, 2025 at the age of 66, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Jimmy" Joyner and Patricia Sneeden; her stepfather Glenn; and her sister Rita Talbert. She is survived by: her husband Wendell Shoaf; her brother Jay (Vicky); her children, Frankie (Stacy) and Amber; and her grandchildren, Steven, Jenna, Michelle, Brandon, Alyssa, Jalyn and Adam. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Piedmont Funeral Home (405 S Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pine Primitive Baptist Church (7419 North Carolina Hwy 150, Lexington, NC 27295).
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in honor of Kathy to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation in the hopes of a future cure.
