Kemp Swaim Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2025, at the age of 71, Kemp Swaim of Lexington, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kemp L. Swaim, Sr. and Rubye Beeson; his sister Janet Holcombe; and his extended family Niels Madsen. He is survived by: his siblings, Maria Reid (Paul) and Rick Swaim (Catharine); his siblings' children, Tim Reid (Rebecca), Tina Cresong (Mark), Wendy Douglas (Robert), Dusty Benston (Scott) and Stephanie Phillips (Blake); his cousins, Rachel Madsen, Richard Miller (Lynn) and Reesa Alexander (Tracy); and his caregiver Pat Swaim.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the New Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery (4258 Old Lexington Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27107).
