He was predeceased by: his parents, Lake Dale Leonard and Helen Beck Leonard; and his siblings, Bryce Leonard, Austin Leonard, Charles Leonard and Martha Slabach.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis H. Leonard; his children, Jeffrey Lake Leonard (Donna), Joel Leonard (Alicia) and Amanda Leonard; and his brothers, David Leonard (Brenda) and Tommy Leonard.
