He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenny Hughes and Frances McBride Hughes; his wife Patricia Ruth Hughes; and his sisters, Nancy Vestal and Judy Crotts.
He is survived by: his sons, Dean Hughs (Rita) and Terry Hughes (Sherry Stanfield); his grandchildren, Brittany Tussey, Whitney Ferguson and Shelly Baker; and his great grandchildren, Gracie, Madison, Bailey, Ashlyn, Easton, Carter, Parker, Chance and Mason.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Madison Heights FWB Church, General Fund.
