He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Mitchell Shoaf and Edith Everhart Shoaf; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Nelson and Jimmy Turner. He is survived by: his wife Kay Nelson Shoaf; his children, Amy Shoaf Everhart (Brent) and Scott Mitchell Shoaf (Missy); his sister Ileen Turner; his brother-in-law James Nelson; his grandchildren, Tyler Everhart (Hannah), Devin Everhart, Ashton Bassett (Brandon) and Bryson Shoaf; and his great grandchildren, Hudson Bassett and Jackson Everhart.
