He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Venable and Hazel Harris Venable; his siblings, Eddie Venable and Gail Woodard; and his son-in-law Tracy S. Walser.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Venable; his children, Darel Jackson (Heather), Serena Walser and Zachery Jackson; his grandsons, Liam and Lucas Jackson; his aunt Martha Todd; and his nieces, Dana Smith (Steve) and Shelley Marshall (Michael).
