He is survived by: his children, Robert "Nick" Nicholson (Lynn) and JoAnn Hutchins (Rick); his grandchildren, Bobby Nicholson (Lorie), Brandon Hutchins (Brooke), Marnie Nicholson Stoker and Brooke Coffey (Chevy); his great grandchildren, Seth, Cole Hutchins, Mali Coffey and Robert Lewis Nicholson, III (Tripp); and his caregivers, Becky McMillian, Tina Staples, Cory Trollinger, Tori Tracy, Savannah Cooper, Kalyssa Hutchens and Megan Barham.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel (301 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
