She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Horton, Sr. and Lillie Ratchford Horton; her son Charles S. Wallace; and her siblings, Minnie L. Blenman, Sam Horton, Jr., Thomas Horton, Clarence Horton, Floyd Horton, Ralph Horton, Willie Ray Horton, J. B. Horton and Ronnie Horton.
She is survived by: her husband Bruce Miller; her son Jerry Wallace; her grandchildren, Steven Friday (Maria) of Concord, Shuntorrah Friday of Lexington, Jerray Wallace (Kyra) of Rock Hill, SC, Renee Howze (Corey) of Fort Lawn, SC and Shanard Abraham of Charlotte; her brothers, Charles "Sonny" Horton of Philadelphia, PA and Roy "PeeWee" Horton of Gaffney, SC; and her sisters-in-law, Annie Horton and Judy Belcher. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Service (701 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (210 Village Dr, Lexington, NC 27292). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at the South Lexington City Cemetery.
