It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Jarvis Hudson of Lexington, North Carolina, who passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Eggman and Edna Carroll Eggman; her husbands, Bernard William Hudson and Henry Jarvis; her siblings, Eunice McVey (Allen), Esther Norton (Roy), Gilbert Eggman (Naomi) and Elba Moore (Bill); her granddaughter Debbie Wilbanks; her granddaughter-in-law Ashley Jarvis; and her stepgrandson Randall Hudson.
She is survived by: her children, Edna Mae Cox (Jerry), Becky Ayars (Brian) and Steve Jarvis (Wendy); her stepchildren, Kevin Hudson (Jennifer), Kimberly Davis (Danny) and Mary Cundiff (Jim); her grandchildren, David Jones (Wendy), Rachel Trammel (Josh), Kimberly Jones, Angie Dicken (David), Brian F. Ayars (Patricia), Steven Henry Jarvis, Jr. (Janielle) and Philip Thomas Jarvis; Norman and Janice Dingess. She is also survived by twenty three great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren and two on the way; several step-grandchildren; special friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Carolina Christian Academy (Lank J. Sechrest Community Center) building project.
