She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Odell Everhart and Ellen Dora Beck Everhart; her husband Bobby Townsend; her siblings, Rondall Everhart, Jimmy Everhart, Edna Mae Weisner and Florence Kearns; her sons-in-law, Ben Latham and Danny Darnell; and her grandson Eddie "Tiger" Bates Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Danny Townsend (Gail) of Lexington, Sylvia Darnell of Lexington, Kathy Troutman (David) of Lexington and Susan Latham of Southmont; and her siblings, Charles Ray Everhart (Sue) of Lexington and Brenda Flowers (David) of Lexington. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
