She was predeceased by: her father Walter Johnson; her husband Daniel Boone; her brothers, Ralph, Carl, Dennis, Glenn and Otis Johnson; her half-sister Faye Mallory; and her adoptive parents, Edwin Correll and Frances Correll.

She is survived by: her daughters, Robin Boone Correll (Johnny) of Lexington and Julie Boone Welch of Lexington; her brothers, Loal, Goble Johnson of Lexington and Gerald Johnson of Florida; her half-siblings, Donnie Johnson and Doris Vanover; her grandchildren, Shannon Long, Mark Correll and Benji Correll; her great grandchildren, Cole, Abby, Emma and Grace Justice; and her great great grandchild River Wayne Todd.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292; Lexington Health Care, 17 Cornelia St., Lexington, NC 27292; or to Davidson County First Hope Ministries, 107 E. First Ave.
