We are sad to announce that, on June 17, 2023, at the age of 78, Lucille (Cil) Cooper Tanner of Lexington, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cooper and Farey Gentry Cooper; and her brother Benny Cooper. She is survived by: her husband James Carroll Tanner (Jim); her children, Jerry Moore of Thomasville and Sandra Moore of Thomasville; her siblings, Roger Cooper of Elkin, Billy Cooper of Elkin and Ann Pilgrim of Elkin; her grandchildren, Brandy Moore, Amanda Phillips, Loganne Johnson (Jeremy) and Courtney Moore; and her great grandchildren, Grace Johnson, Bella Phillips, Julien Johnson, Joel Johnson, Lilyanne Johnson and Jeremiah Johnson.
