She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Ashmore Johnston and A. E. Johnston, Jr.; her husband Reverend Harvey H Koonts, Jr.; and her siblings, Gina Johnston and John Michael Johnston of Greenville, SC..
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen A. Pfaff, Jr. and Marion P. Koonts; her grandson Andrew R. Pfaff; and her siblings, Gwen Johnston Austin of Greenville, SC, A. E. Johnston, III of Liberty, SC and Robert Graham Johnston.
