She was predeceased by: her parents, Bozeman Bozeman and Josephine Jacobs Bozeman; her husband Buford Allen Ward; and her son Bob Ward. She is survived by: her daughter Connie Simerson; her children-in-law, Eddie Simerson and Linda Ward; her granddaughter Angie Crews (Richard); her great grandchildren, Jake Crews and Andrew Crews; and her stepgrandchildren, Gay Gunn (Carl), Michelle Ketchie (Walter), Corey Simerson and Ali Wall (Charlie).
