She was predeceased by: her parents, James Howard May and Alice Jean Starr May; her husband Carl Odell Welborn, III; her daughter Kristi Michelle Gregory; and her great grandchild Jayce Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Gregory (Donna) of Archdale, Jim "Tink" Gregory (Stephanie) of Denton, Tim Gregory of Denton and Jennifer Semones (Larry) of Winston-Salem; her siblings, Michael May (Tamara) of Decatur, TX, James A. May of Cozumel, Mexico and Cheryl May Everhart (David) of Thomasville; her grandchildren, Zach Gregory, Jason Varner, Kristin Argote, Heather Gregory, Jax Gregory, Brittany Hedrick and Jonathan Welborn; and her pet Meesha.
