It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Taylor (Lexington, North Carolina), born in Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on August 21, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Simmons and Mollie Henderson Simmons; and her sister Kathleen Collier. She is survived by: her husband Edwin Taylor; her sons, Eddie Taylor, Mitchell Taylor (Julie) and Eric Taylor; and her grandchildren, Benjamin Taylor, Matthew Aldritch, Terri Aldritch and Tony Crouse. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be directed to Churchland Baptist Church, located at 7516 S NC HWY 150, Lexington, NC 27295.
