He was predeceased by: his parents, John Perry May and Zeola Frances Snider May; and his siblings, Austin May and Frances Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ann Ward May; his children, Marian M. Barker (Jerry) of Lexington and Timothy Bruce May (Tammy) of Seagrove; his grandsons, Brandon Barker (Denise), Michael Barker (Jennifer), Joseph Barker (Stephanie), Joshua May (Ashton) and Jonathan May; and his great grandchildren, Brittany Lunsford, River Barker, Willow Barker, Brayden Barker, Hailey Barker, Luke Barker and Emilia Mercado.
