It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marion May of Lexington, North Carolina, born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on October 5, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Perry May and Zeola Frances Snider May; and his siblings, Austin May and Frances Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ann Ward May; his children, Marian M. Barker (Jerry) of Lexington and Timothy Bruce May (Tammy) of Seagrove; his grandsons, Brandon Barker (Denise), Michael Barker (Jennifer), Joseph Barker (Stephanie), Joshua May (Ashton) and Jonathan May; and his great grandchildren, Brittany Lunsford, River Barker, Willow Barker, Brayden Barker, Hailey Barker, Luke Barker and Emilia Mercado.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be sent to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
