She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mast and Myrtie Mast. She is survived by: her significant other Colon Nifong; her children, Deborah N. Patterson (Fred) and Jeffrey D. Nifong (Joanna); her grandchildren, Christina Woods (Brian), Rebecca Cecil (Ryan), Amber Nifong and Joshua Nifong; and her siblings-in-law, Nell Schopp, Larry Nifong (Betty) and Maxine Mast.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be considered for Hospice of Davidson County or Midway Church.
