It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Steven Burr of Lexington, North Carolina, who passed away on September 8, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Hampton and Ruby Mills Burr; his siblings, Margaret Gail Benton, Dawn Sheree Lanier and David Wade Burr; and his close friend Gail Reynolds.

He is survived by: his sister Patricia "Pat" Lanier (Rick) of Lexington, NC; his daughter Katie Huskey; and his close friends, Barry Peeler, Jackie Harris and Carol Godwin.
