She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Dagenhart and Clara Gannt Dagenhart; her husband Samuel Hooks; and her siblings, David Dagenhart, Harold Dagenhart, Hilda Brower and Estelle Boggs. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
