It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mazie Troutman of Lexington, North Carolina, born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on September 20, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Howard Walser and Lether Jane Shoaf Walser; her siblings, Howard Walser, Richard Walser, Larry Walser and Lucille Kirk; and her siblings-in-law, Tommy Weaver, James Kirk, Ruth Walser, Shirley Walser and Malinda Walser.
She is survived by: her husband Jackie Coogan Troutman; her daughters, Patricia Darr of Lexington and Jackie Yates (Charles) of Winston Salem; her siblings, Bobby Walser, Wilford Walser, Carolyn Weaver and Donna Berrier (Larry); her sister-in-law Sue Walser; and her granddaughters, Melissa Darr (Scott) and Adrienne Yates Hill (Ian).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to honor Mazie's memory.
