He is survived by: his daughter Yolanda Shaw of Lexington; his grandchildren, Amber Shaw (Jamie) and Aaron Shaw (Sara); his great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Skye, Kayden, Grayson, Brayden, Xandria and Hazel "Faye"; his siblings, Albert Gillespie (Donna) of Graham, Guilford Gillespie of Lexington, David Gillespie (Robin) of Lexington, Eddie Gillespie of Lexington, Mark Gillespie (Robin) of Thomasville, Mary Dauer (Dave) of Denton and Tim Gillespie of Denton; his sister-in-law Linda Leonard (Lindsey); and his pet Riley.
