She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Wayne Shipton; her parents, Melvin Curtis Austin Sr. and Hilda Mae Austin; and her sister Kathyrn Barney. She is survived by: her sons, Melvin Wayne Bragg, Christopher Wes Bragg (Stacy) and John Christopher Parker. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
