He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulysses Simpson Mitcham and Hazell Harrelson Mitcham; and his sister Betsy Mitcham. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Mitcham; his children, David Mitcham (Kelly) of Lexington, Gregory Mitcham, Christopher Mitcham and Tanya Rogers (John); his grandchildren, Natalee Mitcham of Lexington and Nicholas Visintainer (Miranda); and his great grandchild Connor Visintainer.
