She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Little Chaffin and Martha Byerly Chaffin; her husband Bobby Lee Mize; her brothers, Robert of Jimmy, JW and Bruce Chaffin; and her grandson Chris Rutherford.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Mize of Lexington, Tim Mize of Lexington, Cindy Mize of Lexington, Angela Johnson (Jeff) of Asheboro and Tracie Mize of High Point; and her brother Donald Chaffin (Myrna) of Texas. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home (301 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 200 Hospice Way Lexington, NC 27292.
