We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2024, at the age of 56, Monya Michelle Anderson (Lexington, North Carolina), born in Winston Salem, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Luther David Anderson and Patricia Ann Powers Anderson; and her aunt Veronica Power Hedrick. She is survived by : her children, Lechelle Anderson and Trinton McGriff; her grandchildren, Winter Anderson and Leilan McGriff; her boyfriend Lamont Holt; her sisters, Gloria Darlene Anderson (Donald Smith), Valeria Anderson, Patrice Anderson, Lanae Anderson and Tamera Anderson; her aunt Linda Lewis; her uncle Ronald Powers (Natalie); and her friends, Arielle Gainey and Carolyn Taylor. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Viewing was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Service-Lex (701 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). Visitation was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (210 Village Dr, Lexington, NC 27292). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
