Nancy Lou Phelps Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Lou Phelps of Lexington, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 26, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Ellis Hil and Flora Jane Hill (Sullivan); her siblings, Ellis Hill and Shelley Mobley; and her son Gary Lee Phelps.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. Hobert Gary Phelps of Lexington; her children, Kim Floyd (Tim) of Lexington and Ted Phelps (Jennifer) of Lexington; her adoptive daughter Patty Phelps of Georgia; her grandchildren, Amber Tritt (Jeremy), Jonathan Floyd, Hailey Phelps, Alec Phelps and Kaitlyn Luke; her great grandchildren, Luke Tritt, Andrew Phelps, Kathan Phelps and Beau Phelps; and her siblings-in-law, Virgina Hill of Nebraska and Terry Phelps of Oregan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the Westside Baptist Church in Lexington, North Carolina or the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington, North Carolina.
