She was predeceased by: her parents, Odell Monroe Curry and Mae Black Curry; her husband Paul "Leon" Swicegood; and her siblings, John Robert Curry, Frank Curry, Betty Koontz and Connie McMahan.
She is survived by: her son Dale Swicegood (Kimberly); her sister Martha Byerly; her grandson Matthew Swicegood (Jordann); and her great grandchild Levi Swicegood. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home - Lexington (301 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Church (943 N North Carolina Hwy 150, Lexington, NC 27295).
