He is survived by: his wife Mary Lanning; his son Allen (late Karen); his daughter-in-law Dusty; his grandchildren, Ryan (Emily), Kyle (Kyleigh), Cody, Grayson and Alayna; his great grandchild Carter; his stepgrandchildren, Peyton Ferguson and Nathanael Rouse; and his stepgreat-grandson Marshall Ferguson.
A graveside service was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Hill Memorial Park (1307 W Old Hwy 64, Lexington, NC 27295).
