He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Lee Hedrick and Daisy Leonard Hedrick; his wife Ruth Moore Hedrick; his daughter Tricia Hedrick Jenkins; and his brother Charles Hedrick.
He is survived by: his son Herbert Odell Hedrick Jr. (Karen) of Lexington; his son-in-law John Jenkins; his siblings, Donald Lee Hedrick (Joann), Jerry Ray Hedrick, Marie Hedrick Gobble and Diane Hedrick Burris; his sister-in-law Gaynelle Surratt Hedrick; his grandchildren, Jeni Stilwell (Seth), Herbert Odell "Trey" Hedrick III (Callie) and Jordan Chase Hedrick (Brooke); and his great grandchildren, Ella Reece Stilwell, Hannah Reid Hedrick, Hadley Ruth Hedrick and Deacon Jace Hedrick. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home (301 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Becks Reformed Church (2845 Becks Church Rd, Lexington, NC 27292).
