He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy E. Queen and Gertie May Lopp Queen; his wife Betty Jo Meadows Queen; his brother Roy J Queen; and his son Jeffrey Eugene Queen.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Ann Queen McCurdy of Thomasville, Tracy Leigh Queen of High Point and James Gregory Strickland (Barbara) of Hickory; his grandchildren, Nicholas Queen, Amanda Queen of Blacksburg, SC, Jasmine McCurdy of Dayton, OH, Christian McCurdy of Raleigh, Sara Strickland Hudson (Brad) of Hickory, Kayla Strickland of Hickory and Ryan Strickland (Emma) of Mint Hill; his great grandchildren, Cooper, Olivia and Nora; and his siblings, Boyd A. Queen Sr. (Janice) of Lexington, Don L. Queen (Linda) of Lexington and Barbara Queen Floyd of Mt. Airy.
