She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Franklin and Lela Benton; her husband Julian Glenn Sneeden; her daughter Rita Talbert; and her former husband James Joyner.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Shoaf (Wendell) of Lexington, NC and Jay Joyner (Vicky) of Wilmington, NC; her grandchildren, Frankie Shoaf, Brandy Child, Tiffany Griffin, Amber Hooks, Malissa Blalock and Markie Talbert; and her great grandchildren, Steven, Jenna, Michelle, Brandon, Jalyn, Alyssa, Kaylee, Adam, Gage, Wesley, Colton, William and Ivy.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Andrews Market Street Chapel (1617 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1361 Old Fayetteville Rd, Leland, NC 28451). A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (1311 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412).
