He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Parks (Kay) and Kathy Myers. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Sonja Parks; his sons, Austin (Olivia) of Asheville, NC and Aiden; his sister Jenni Issacs (Mike) of Lexington; his stepsisters, Marissa Freeman (Jeff) and Holly Bellini (Ron); and his stepfather Jeff Myers of Lexington.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to his special needs son Aiden for his care of life.
