He was predeceased by: his sisters, Dorothy R. Talbert, Evelyn T. Roberts, Kiwana T. Talbert and Norma N. Talbert. He is survived by: his wife Betty Talbert; his children, Paul E. Talbert, Jr. (Davette) and Carla Ann Talbert; his granddaughter Andi Talbert; and his siblings, Dwight Talbert, Sr., Irma Talbert and Brenda Talbert. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Service (701 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the United Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church (450 Metropolitan Dr, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Salisbury National Cemetery (501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144).
