It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paul Rodgie Tharp of Lexington, North Carolina, who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Hampton Tharp and Ollie Tharp; and his wife Elizabeth "Ann" Hall Tharp. He is survived by: his sons, Doug Tharp (Vickie) of Lexington and Rodney Tharp (Tina) of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Brett Tharp, Dustin Tharp (Maria Rodriguez Pierro), Brooke Fowler and Kenny Holdaway (Heather); his great grandchild Luca Tharp; and his friends, Betty Drum and Lendon Sink.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holloways Baptist Church 131 Briggs Road, Lexington, NC 27292.
