He is survived by: his father Jerry Elwood Burkhart; his girlfriend Lisa Moorefield; his daughter Kayla Gray (Kristen Moorefield); his grandchildren, Bentley, Waylon, Lillian, Skylar and Erin; and his close friends, Tim Benson, Jonny Young and Scott Hunt.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Central Baptist Church (1347 NC-47, Lexington, NC 27292).
