He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Crotts and Clifford Lee Crotts; his siblings, Mary Jo Rowe, Jerry and Dale Crotts; and his grandson Justin Thompson.

He is survived by: his wife Erlene Crotts; and his brother Charles Crotts. He is also survived by six children, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
