It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reta Sue Taylor of Lexington, North Carolina, who passed away on April 22, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Venie Rose Church Curtis; her former husband Herbert H. Caudill; her husband Darrell Taylor; and her siblings, Kathleen Curtis Killian, Louise Marie Curtis Chambers, Margaret Curtis Gales, Richard Summerfield Curtis and Gilbert Curtis.
She is survived by: her children, Herbert Caudill (Sandra) of Linwood, NC and Kathy Caudill Wallace (Charles) of Kathleen; her grandchildren, Marcia Lentz, Robert Seeders, Angela Marlow and Jennifer Eddy; and her siblings, Marlene Laws of Purlear, Barbara McNeil of Millers Creek, Nancy Moore of Moravian Falls, Buddy Curtis (Connie) of Millers Creek and Wayne Curtis (Wanda) of Purlear. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.
